Job Description

2rbConsulting is looking to hire several experienced Support Engineers for a role in Las Colinas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to Enterprise customers, partners, and other engineers.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Investigate problems by doing research and involving other teams as needed
  • Escalate to management as necessary and act internally as a customer advocate
  • Responsible for ensuring that each support request is handled as per the organization’s Service Level Agreement
  • Document technical work and research in a detailed and comprehensive manner
  • Maintain a proactive approach to customer happiness, identify and correct customer satisfaction concerns before they become problems

Overall Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work on weekends as needed
  • Strong knowledge and experience with .NET Frameworks, ASP.NET, VB.NET and Webservers
  • Knowledge of IIS configuration and how HTTP requests are handled by IIS
  • Strong working knowledge of Visual Studio and Azure SDK
  • Familiarity with Azure services and offerings is a plus or experience in AWS or Google Cloud
  • Able to troubleshoot complex web application issues
  • Knowledge of PHP, Node.js, Java, JavaScript, and popular frameworks such as WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal
  • Strong understanding of programming concepts such as call stacks, threading, synchronization, performance-related concepts and debugging
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
