2rbConsulting is hiring an experienced Desktop Systems Specialist for a rapidly growing team in Bellevue, WA. The person in this role will be tasked with providing the highest quality support to both the company’s onsite and remote employees in a professional environment. We’re seeking self-motivated, service-oriented individuals with high integrity who can make an immediate and positive impact.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing 2nd tier support to identify, investigate and resolve technical problems
  • Tasked with monitoring the request queue and providing direct support to users regarding their issues or escalate as needed
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for internal desktop systems software and hardware
  • Responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop systems, workstations, and laptops
  • Maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment
  • This person will communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Responsible for recommending hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have strong customer service and communication skills
  • Have a desire to interact with end users or clients in a courteous, professional manner
  • Strong knowledge of Windows clients and servers as used in a corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, group policy and the Windows security model
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, PCs, laptops and a variety of mobile devices
  • Experience troubleshooting TCP/IP network environments
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage work schedules, project and task priorities
  • Experience in a desktop support environment-Ticketing system, direct and on-call contact with customers, and team-oriented environments
  • Experience troubleshooting PC desktops and laptops, software, hardware, Microsoft office suites, email, printers and peripherals
  • Flexible schedule as this job may require extended support hours, occasional night, weekend and some on-call work
