Managed IT Services Advisor-Atlanta
Our client, a national IT Managed Services, and IT Solutions company, is seeking to hire a Managed Technical Services Pre-Sales Advisor. In this role, you will be focused on supporting the client's Managed Services opportunities, working closely with the sales teams.
The team focuses on remote infrastructure management, It networking, storage, servers, daily care and feeding for clients remotely, support end users, Office 365 and AWS solutions, NOC solutions, Collaboration Device Management.
This role will support the qualification, proposal preparation, account strategy and client management. The individual may also work with other client resources to provide knowledge and guidance on Managed Services. You'll also be responsible to deliver on the Company’s business objectives of Revenue and Gross Margin as related to these services.
May be required to travel to client locations (15%-25%)
Responsibilities of this role:
Responsible for assisting Sales Managers and Account Executives in defining and positioning large or complex Managed Services solutions ($200,000+)
Establishing trusted relationship with sales and Managed Services Delivery teams
Establishing trusted advisor relationships with client organizations at the executive level
Utilizing strategic market development to identify business opportunities
Providing business forecast
Maintaining agreed upon pipeline development activity
Communicating opportunity revenue and booking date forecast
Attaining the revenue targets assigned
Utilizing strategic account planning methodology to increase Managed Services revenue and gross margin
Leveraging the big deal management and qualifying tools for key opportunities
Managing forecast – maintain accurate revenue and closing metrics
Interfacing with Managed Services Operations to ensure capability of delivery of services
Participating in client meetings to determine solution requirements
Highly available and responsive to the assigned client teams
Assisting in business outcome discussions with client(s) contacts at C-Level and LOB
- Post-secondary education with a focus on technology an asset
- Minimum 3 years’ experience (5 years+ preferred) in a managed services sales environment
- Proven managed services sales success
- Strong client services skills with a focus on improving the client experience
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and drive to achieve
